Hello all - thought I'd join Sijun, as I have been drooling over most of the art posted here. I thought to offer my own pieces (recently finished), and since they run along the same theme, I have two to show.
The first is the Queen as taken from the Alien movies. The second is a queen of my own more or less original design (I had to keep SOME elements in ).

As said on TEH forum, first one rocks soki :]
better with lightsource, but I think you lost some of the nice blues when you did it, you might wanna add some. |

Definitely like the first one over the second. The second's head is a little too short to be threatening. The rendering style of it is very interesting, though. It's translucent body almost makes it look like it's under a microscope.
