I redesigned my website, this time using a picture of Orangutan eyes at the top. The name of the site has been changed to Jimpy.net, I'm going to register the domain name shortly.

Any crits or feedback? There's a gallery section there too, as well as a guestbook.

Hi,

It looks nice, although maybe a little too vertical in shape. Another thing, in the gallery section, when you click a thumbnail, it display the image alone on a page, therefor getting rid of the entire page design and menus. I would rather have it open a second window (or integrate it in the design if you're website is dynamic) on which you can maybe add nav links (previous image, next image and close window for example).

Hi, have to agree it�s a touch too vertical, but at least it does make it stand out from most other web pages you see today. The only thing that I noticed was that you can�t really read jimpy.net that easily, if you gave it a 1 pixel black stroke and then play with the opacity until it outlines it nice and subtley, that�d look nice. Like the colours too, as it looks pretty arty, why don�t you design some buttons that follow the same theme instead of just having html text... it�d make it look a lot nicer. It�s got potential...
