Wow, very nice work.
I love that it is so rough, but shows so much. Nice style, and beautiful work on your site.

something about the perspective of the lower body seems off, but the utterly frenzied feel that the picture conveys totally offsets that... love the picture... how long did that take you? |

These take about 15 to 20 minutes. I think after I learn Photoshop a bit more this time should improve. I hope. EEEEEK! |

is it just me or does this seem to have a vertical blurriness too it. i dont mean the filter, just sort of the apperance of one. and if so, intentional? |

That is so amazing, there's so much movement and life in that picture. It looks like he's crashing downward, was that the intent? Either way, it looks incredible... |

Thanks everyone! The movement is intentional, although I'm not yet feeling confident with Photoshop to pull it off successfully. In painting these sketches with Cel-Vinyl, I exaggerate the speed of the brushstrokes especially if something is in motion. There just sketches and not meant to be finishes. These are starting points that lead to a more final and larger product. |

Looks like a darker and more sinister version of Number 5 from the movies Short Circuit.
I like it! |

Great sketch! Looks really chaotic, love the violent sense of movement to it, like all hell is breaking loose. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Pro, you probably know this but in Photoshop 6 there are several brush patterns you can access in addition to the default.
You can also turn off or down spacing with the smudge tool to make a decent smudge for large areas.
And you can create custom brushes.
You can create a mask areas and save selections to disk to help improve sketch time.
.. If selecting colors slows you down you can "show colors", click on the color slider to select a color, or make a color palette (and or put colors directly on canvas for selecting mixing).
I'll write a tutorial on all this some time. Also, if anyone has good old master style painting or Photoshop tips email them to me. |

Nice digital painting here Pro. It kind of reminds me of "Johnny 5 is alive" in battle mode. |
