Are you talking about Yeah Bob? The two pics he posted are photographs he found in Sijun's. The first one is a photography work of mine that I posted in Random Musings, the other one is a picture of Ivey she posted to show the reference she used for a sketch of hers.

He did paint the pictures, it's just that they are from photo references, which he mentioned.

Did the pic this morning - it's not 100% originally mine, since I did it for xXxPZxXx to help him with a pic on the 'Work in Progress' forum - I hope you don't mind xXxPZxXx. Don't exactly know how much it took .. some 25-40 minutes would be a good guess.

Mr.T: 'Kaikkein Pahin' means 'The Most Evil of Them All' / 'The Worst of Them All'. Just like 'Kaikkein Pyhin' means 'The Most Holy of Them All'. Nice pair if you ask me.

ah, marvel got there first to translate my finnish...
mr. t: it was supposed to become a wanderer with a weird hat only the time limit wouldn't allow to define it more.

(I ripped these two from an artist with the "aid of software" and am thinking of changing my username...heehee...couldn't resist )

any tips, advise, crits, anything that helps me improve welcome!!

Man, I can't believe that you're actually using the aid of software. That is so unbelievably lame.

Your latest tank has some perspective problems I'd say. Not that I'd be any authority on this.

Mr.T: Thanks. Yeah I was a little sloppy there. But it was late at night so - next time - I'll try to be more careful.

hi.. this is a further development of the sketch i posted a few days ago... I had the urge to develop it further becourse it was not really a painting - rather a linesketch. So... another hour or so of painting...

My first pic ever using Painter. This program really drives me nuts. This was about 2 hours including the hair ripping and crying.

The most annoying thing is when I switch from my pen over to the eraser on my Intuous, it leaves a little "ghost" of the cursor on the painting that doesn't go away until you zoom in our out. It will only get easier, I hope.

Don't let the speed painting thread die ! It's so close to the 400 posts mark

Anyways, I'm not too happy with the picture, since I got the turn of the head wrong compared to the reference. Took about an hour, maybe a bit much for a speed painting, but I didn't think it warranted a thread of it's own either.

don't know if this technically fits here... but it was speed-painted, and was a great practice in values, contrast, materials. painted over Francis' Roboheadz.

...if you want to see it without the lines layer.

Speed-paint the planet!

This has its own thread, but I figured I might as well stick it here too, since it was done in less than an hour...maybe 30-50 minutes...I wasn't timing:
