saripol, try going into edit/prefrences/windows...

change "physical memory usage" to maximum memory for painter. painter was a hog before i switched that. its much smoother now. really big, complex brushes are still a little slow though, but you'd be amazed how much it helps.

Hope I can remember how to post images.
This image was actually killed while I was making it. The design changed when I was about half way through, and I just slapped the rest together. Anyway, it was quick!

I've been following this speed painting thread for a while and it looks like fun - so i figured i'd give it a try. Here's last night's 40 minute effort:

I'm sure there are problems with it - i'm not used to doing quick painting, but it was fun and constructive nonetheless!

hrm. my last post wasn't supposed to be hard on spooge. I thought I might learn a few things by mimicing the procedure.. I'm not here to be rough on anyone, just to try to pick up a few things... oh yeah, does anyone else notice oblagon is getting better with every post? kudos oblagon.

lookitsfrank,

I don't think he meant it like that. Craig is sick of people emulating him, and for good reason. He has spent a lot of time and effort developing a style and a name for himself. Now, there are millions of little wanna-be Craigs floating around trying to copy his technique. That must be incredibly frustrating for him. The fact that he EVER takes the time to try and teach us ANYTHING is beyond me. He certainly doesn't owe it to this 'society', yet some take advantage.

I just hope I get to continue seeing his art SOMEWHERE. Whether or not it is here amongst the forums, or whether it is in major motion pictures.

I just think we should STOP talking about him: Craig here, Craig there. Give him some space man.
If moderators are around. I would appreciate if you could delete all the no-pic posts about Spooge. thanks
