First, a disclaimer. I'm not going to talk about WMS/SD/Craig/Mr. Mullins at all, because, really, there's nothing for me to say...

Palladia Mors and Oblagon, those are both beautiful. Lovely, lovely. Both of them have qualities of line and expression that I envy. Good work all. (Please excuse me if your picture is good and I didn't commenton it; I am a lowly modem user who doesn't want to wait for the entire bloody thread to load in the little mini window before I hit "Add Reply")

Good Lord, I can't wait until I get my tablet so I can contribute, instead of just running my mouth...

I'm really having trouble with light, as is obvious.. =| Any suggestions on how i might learn to understand it better? Light, that is.

And i have to say, the quality of this thread is just.. amazing. Keep it up folks. =)

Oblagon, please don't take this the wrong way. I am not meaning to sound insulting in the least, but why are you trying so hard to paint like Craig? I think you might have a bit better luck if you focused more on shapes and values and a little less on trying to mimick Craig's technique.

Again, I'm not trying to insult you in any way, just making an inquiry.

We all focus on what we want. Including telling people information we think they need (wrapped up in the nicest possible way).

Oblagons strange machines are a kind of its own. It felt very refreshing the first time I saw his conceptomobiles (detailed hitech stuff, yet minimalistic, ultra cool). I still save them when I find one.
To me, the same flow isn't quite present in his "organic" paintings. Looking at spooge in any way isn't the worst one can do.

Heh, okay cool guy. You just keep on scribblin'! Maybe someday I'll actually be able to make out the forms in one of your finger-paintings.
