I think compositionally it is much better than when I saw your first one, no confusion about which way the water will be flowing now which is a good thing. Excellent rendering of the water too. I think the reflections are a little too well defined personally, but that could just be me. Looks like an attack of rabid disposable insane contact lenses.

Jeez... sorry the globes are not well liked. 'cause I'm planning to do a lot more... That's just one of the things I do... oh well...

Here's an earlier one...

Personally I think the globes are interesting, and I like your ideas behind them... in this case though I think they be part of the environment a little bit more. Right now they look sort of pasted in, I think in the second picture you posted it blends in better. Maybe because the edges aren't quite so harsh?

Anyway, draw what you like even if it doesn't make much sense to others. Making yourself happy is whats important right?

I dont like the globes, too.

The rest of your image is wonderful. I like it very much (without the globes )!

I agree with jez, keep the globes there. It just makes the pic different (not like others). But yeah try and blend them to the landscape, to make it more realistic, not that i've ever seen one of these, maybe the globe color is wrong, and i noticed that the grass in the top pic does'nt recede and blend into the paddock, otherwise I envy the way you've done the 2 pics, and if the pic is the way you wanted it, dont take any notice of this

BTW whats the sectret to doing water? really like to know! THANX

that looks absolutely brilliant!
nice composition and technique.
good job.
((looks like a gathering of Culture Minds in a scenery... hey, draw those things in an orbital scene

(ummm...I am SO sorry for this, since nobody probably understood more than the first two sentences))

Hey... I understand the third sentence as well... and "...a gathering of Culture Minds in a scenery..." Culture Minds??? Is that a group??? ... actually the gist of that is probably pretty close to what I'm doing with the picture... not really sure myself... just like doing it and if it feels good, do it. I'l figure it all out later...

personally i like the pic a lot, including the globes
to me it seems like it's a scene of a nice calm little stream on a nice summer day. everything is going well.
then there's the alien... research... things goin around the surface. Kind of like in Star Wars when the Empire sends out all those probes, and that one lands on Hoth and discoveres the Rebellion is there. Except these "probes" look much cooler.
i doubt you meant that... but that's just the impression that i got.
i love the reflection too... and the detail on the grass by the edge of the water. my gosh.
that close rock is nice... although something makes it look not quite real. i'm not sure what... perhaps it looks too perfect.
how long did this take you?

love the landscapes. Can't say I like the globes. But if they make you happy, keep-um'.
