Holy holy holy God.

I'm in awe. You do brilliant frame-to-frame. Dramatic lighting, all that good stuff!

Thanks guys

yeah it was cool doing these, playing with the camera angles and doing different perspective shots. Probably not something I've shown that much, so glad I've shown them with these.. Probably get round to doing that next page in a bit. Just need to put down that friggin pencil and pick up me trusty wacom heh.

Dixter - thats meant to be the blade cutting the womans hand, just decided to leave that panel more plain..

Brilliant atmosphere here, everything is excellent with it. Even added any kind of speech would ruin it, the narrative is conveyed perfectly.

I'm a quiet fan of you actually, I love you painting style.

well got around to doing the last page. Had alot more close ups planned for the change, head mutating and twisting up, back deforming and sprouting the wings, a little inpsired by An American Werewolf In London and The Howling (my fav movie monster changes) just didn't have enough panels =/ could of used a 4th page.. Also think I should of made more of an effort on the backdrops, maybe got some reference together..

Still, first painted sequentials in a while, will do more of this stuff. Tho think I'll go for colour and a comic format rather than storyboards next time.

Would be nice to know what people think of these all together.

(Lukias and Teaweed thanks guys)

The 7th picture is the the person from the previous scene with a knife slicing the wrist of the victim strapped to the altar, letting his blood flow into the goblet. I like this a lot, a tad more contrast would be excellent. Also, some of the frames are detailed greater than the others.

The figures here are a lot less stiff than the ones in your other pieces - very cool! Keep it right up.

Still looking very good - but i think an extra panel/page with a more detailed environment surrounding the completed metamorphosis complete with onlookers and their expressions would top it off nicely.

( a hefty pic - but it'd look cool )

Arpan - well it's her hand not the wrist, but pretty much.. Decided to leave some panels plainer just to break up the style abit. The contrast is seeming ok but I get that alot (monitor settings).

Satan - Yeah I think you're right, that would add much more to it.. Tho don't really want to do another 8 panel page for these, I might do a seperate painting of that scene including architecture. Someone else mentioned I should show the guys in cloaks expressions, tho they wouldn't really be scared of the transformation, more pleased (tho they wouldn't be showing that..) their faces would probably remain cold and expressionless so it seemed kinda pointless.. still I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
