I don't know if there are any MTBikers who
browse these threads, but if so...

I am designing a web site for a local bike shop
and have been pulling my hair out looking
for a photo of a Mountain Biker speeding
down a steep incline with a cloud of dust
trailing in his (or her) wake. I have
searched and searched to no avail, and I
continue to search still. If anyone out
there knows of the existence of such a
photo please let me know. Thanks

I do moutainbiking but I have no such picture. You can get it however in every moutainbiking / extreme sports magazine.

This I know, but there are several problems
with that.

1. I don't have any MTB mags right now

2. It wouldn't exactly be lawful to steel
a photo from a mag, scan it, and use it in
a design project without permission from
either the photographer or the magazine.

well you could ask them.. most pictures on the net are also copyrighted by someone..

Yes I know this, too. Right now, the
resources of the net are readily available
to me, as the resources of MTB mags which
I do not own are not. Not to mention the
fact that it would be much easier to gain
the rights to use an image from some one
who replies to this thread as the owner of
said image. Also it is much easier to ask
if there is anyone out there who knows of
an image like this rather than waste my
time flipping through countless pages of
MTB mags which may or may not contain the
very specific image I am looking for. And
on the off chance that I do find this image
in a magazine, do you suppose it is an easy
task to contact the magazine?

Anyways....I didn't post this thread to
argue weather or not I could find this pic
in other places. I posted it so if anyone
had seen a pic like this or owned a pic
like this I could possibly have access to
it.

So to that end, if anyone has any useful
information regarding this topic please
let me know.

Specifically someone I can contact, or
some site I can visit.
