I really truly love the 'Assembley' (Assembly?) one, it has a great color-scheme and a feel of 3-D - which is why I don't like the other one all that much .. for some reason it feels very flat to me - perhaps you could try to bring out the shape a bit more with heavier contrast variation. |

'Assembly' looks very good indeed. I just like where the robot sits in the composition and the metal hilites showing the form of it's body. The metal texture on his body looks soooo good!
The rusty background really adds to its industrial style, but I think adding props to indicate where the robot is in the background would work add even more.
My fav's the 'Plague Machine', though. I guess it's only because that robot's got some big guns and there's more to see in the scene. Great stuff, Karl! |
