it pretty interesting so far, but i think the ear is to high. or maybe its the "no ear"? anyways, teeth need some more work and shadows/lighting.
very neat so far |

people post here, because it's hard to get replies in WIP because most people don't go there nearly as much as they go to Finished Work, heh.
about the picture: maybe you could use hard-edged brushes to define some of the shapes |

Why people can't post work in progress in the section for that very purpose is beyond me. Anyway...
I think it has great potential. Refine it and add lighting and you might just have a masterpiece. |

I think a very neutralized background would go well with this one. The forms of his face look a bit amorphous but mayhap tha tis what you were wanting. To me I see a lot of deformed people swimming around in his "skin"! Other than that just bring out the lights and darks (the background will help with this mind you) as dkimblad suggested. It look very cool right now mind you! |
