outpost landscape

i need advice on landscapes... i totally suck especially any one in any atmosphere...
not to mention i dont know any techniques, have any plugins, nor know how to make a texture

I'm not very good at landscapes either, but some general advice - don't bite off too much at a time. Drop the color, work only in black and white for now. And don't go for an imaginary landscape without reference, until you know how to create a real one - get a reference, copy it without tracing or colorpicking, repeat as necessary until... well until you either don't want to anymore, or you're really good at it, whichever comes first.

Yeah I agree, I don't think you have a bad start here at all. Start doing some landscapes from reference, keep practising them and soon it will start coming more naturally. Just keep on going =)
