Here is a quick character sketch for something some people are working on. ( no specifics at this time, sorry )
It was pretty quick, less than an hour, so there are some problems with it. I do , however like the feel.
Go ahead and rip away and tell me what you think. It will help with some of the others that I am planning on doing. There will be a range of high- to low-tech. Suggestions welcome.

Hmm, I like the wonky anatomy; gives it style. I also like the texture. The shodows go a little flat imo. Wowsers..nice though.

He's got a lot of texture and character for a picture that took less than an hour! It's awesome!

Don't really want to crit this because it looks like everything you need is there - the mood lighting, the scenario, the personality of the character and his role, etc...

He think he might look better if you gave him a pose that showed off his "gloves" better and how they are used. Since they're hidden in shadow, it's hard to figure out how they work.

REALLY looking forward to seeing more of your sketches!

Looks very cool for such a fast sketch. I can spot some anatomical errors tho; the right(his left) biceps is too short, or atleast very different from the other. The neck muscles also need to be more symmetrical. His chest muscles doesn't seem to attach to his shoulder on the right place. If he is a pit fighter(he looks like one to me) some scars would be cool
