Here's a character portrait painting I'm finishing up. After the Meat Sack's sweet painting of Return to Wolfenstien I'm feeling pretty lame about my stuff but a wise man once said that every crisis opens up our minds to new possibilities. I appreciate any feedback- thanks

It sucks how they do that, doesn't it? Offering the link to the main directory works though, and it's not too much effort to find the actual image.
The characters look great, especially with the care you've put into painting their faces and the non-Blizzard style medieval outfits.
You should try putting that much attention into your background as well. If you added some shadows to the tower and the rail, the shape of the cavern might be more obvious.
I've put your image on our free server account, hope it appears.

Okay I've worked on the background and it helped a lot. Thank you- tell me what you think.

hey pretty cool pic man! i like the characters and the setting. hey and dont dog on your art just because you think someone is better...if we did that then no one would accomplish any art...even meat sack...there is (or was) always someone better than you. it happens to everyone we all have our person we look up to and get inspiration from. all you can do is work harder to enhance your art and be the best that YOU can be!
heh anyways good luck with the UBB problems with the pic not showing up...(god i hate comps sometimes) |
