Nice helmet. Sometimes I get tired of seeing green orc/goblin dealies.. but I like this guy He has some personality and I like that you varied up his skin tone.. especially in the nose.
My only question would be: does his helmet have the flap guards on both sides, and if so, wouldn't you be able to see a little of the other side? Maybe add a little snow where it would settle on his armor.. maybe not though. Depends how long he's been walking and how hard it's been snowing. |

Manik, thanks. You're right, the orc goblen thing is kinda a bad habit. I tried to get the far flap in there but I guess it wound up looking like a part of his face. And the white was suposed to be stars, guess that didn't work either. |

Nice to see you posting again, GreenPeach.
You've divided the picture plane directly in half with the Goblin on the right side and the background on the other. This is a tough compositional row to hoe. If it's looking weird to you, try dividing the picture plane into thirds instead.
Your work always has such wonderful character and colors. This for fun or for the online thing?

ps, if you're going for stars in the BG, give us some more visual cues. I thought it was snow too. |

This looks really great. My new wallpaper. It all fits so good together. The colouring looks very real. Good job! It reminds me of the good old days. I don't know why tho.

Hey, really great pic Greenpeach! Love the colours, and gritty shading style.Especially like the lighting on the helmet, very solid looking. If I was to crit anything, maybe the outline around the chin looks a little too bold and the sky looks a bit out of sorts with the style of the character, colours look maybe a little walt disneyish in mho. But that's just minor stuff really. Great work overall.
