its interesting how so many things that are spoken on the net become misconstrued simply because the user reading it cannot see the other person, and as such cannot tell if the remark was made in jest or was serious....

i hardly think that Jesus is serious, and although his remark was in poor taste, its hardly a reason to leap on him and kick him square in the nuts

just my two cents.....

The best two things about this thread is 1) how offended most of the people in this thread got, wanting to close it down, and take down Jesus. I KNOW everybody in here knows this guy is just doing this for kicks. He's not trying to offend anybody (actually. he probably is. but not a heinous offending), and he's not trying to start a Christian Jihad on this board. (then again, maybe he is) Either way, they guy shouldn't be given this much credit. I've seen WAY better impressions of Jesus Christ by bored 14 year-olds.

2) If Jesus Holy Christ came back to Earth, would he go to church? I'm sure church would then become a moot point, since it's time to go and grovel at God's feet instead of learning how to do so. I think church was only meant as a filler for the interim of Jesus' coming on Earth. Oh well. Good thing I'm not a theologist, OR Christian.

Oh. And have any of you guys in here heard of Sathya Sai Baba? He's a guy in India who claims to be the TRUE reincarnation of Jesus. He has millions of followers, and he's completely serious about it too. And he has an afro.

OH yeah, best two ways to get into an argument is to talk about religion and politics.

Religion if not handled properly is an opiate for the masses, and we all know that the masses are asses.
Politics can move a horde of idiots and unguided men into war.

I also agree with exo13 to an extent; and leat hacksaw has a really good point. Heck I could be all sarcastic and say maybe this Jesus is hispanic, he could be Jesus (just pronounce it with a hispanic accent) any ways
everyone is entitled to their opinions and random musings (all puns intended)

To those of you who are offened by this. Do you know how many times a day I here "well that's Jewish" or something of that manner?

And since South Park... it's gotten worse. Nothing against the show... I watch it every now and then. But people aren't doing it to offened me as a person. It's like when you say "God Damn it" or "Jesus Christ!" It's just become an every day saying with no thought or meaning carried behind it most of the time. You really have to just take it... it's not like it's going to go away! Just be thankful you don't get hung up on a cross for following Chirst now and day!

which one should I have gone with? The more conservative "idiot" or the more amusing "bitch." I apologize, I just think that referring to men as bitches is just funny. - what is it that motivates someone to want to say "I am a Christian and I want everyone to know it?" Do you need to attach yourself to something which you feel has an authority?

Okay here is my main peeve about this whole deal, this thread is already in it's second page. Now there are tons of people that MAYBE get five replies on their work in progress, and the rest get less than that. For crying out loud stop wasting your time and go help people that are looking for your critcism and insight; or at least spend as much time on that side as you do here.
