This character is the hunter from the same story line as the previous demon (the one from the very scary demon post).
It's not great, but I though some of you might enjoy seeing it.

Wowsers. I love the rendering, although the anatomy seems quirky and stiff in areas.

For me it is the wall and to a lesser extent the floor that grabs me. Great looking stuff there! |

Fantastic textures everywhere! How did you paint the curve of the archway he's stnading in front of so well?
I think his head looks too small for his body. One rule says that it should be three head-heights from the chin to the bottom of the groin, each head-height being from the chin-tip to the top of the skull. This character has almost four heads high torso. Maybe this is meant to a very tall and skinny soldier.
Love his querky rifle

Thanks guys for the kind words. The super skinny style of the character worked when he was outlined and flat filled in the original sketch, but as the picture became more and more rendered, it started to look odder and odder. His proportions are the big failing of the image.
I can't really take credit for the two coolest things about the image - the arch and the design of the gun. The arch was, well originally, before it was assembled together with a few other textures, another photo from Jeremy Engleman's free texture site. And the gun was designed by my friend Klim Kozinevich, who is over at Toymax, living the dream (toymaking that is). |

looks too cumbersome to be practical while fighting a demon from a design aspect. also the helmet looks more like a flight helmet than a combat helmet. otherwise the rendering is very good. the anatomy looks *slightly* stretched to me in the arms (or maybe the head is small) otherwise like I said, quite good. |

I love it! This picture has a whimsical feel to it that is very unique, almost like Dr. Seuss on steroids. Keep up the great work. |

as everyone has said, bitchin rendering. I like the proportions but his left arm seems to be in an awkward position |
