Hi there
...This is a picture in a series done recently. Number 4 it is for those that don't know the roman numetrics(?).

why does that look so much like judge dredd?

The robotic arm is way shorter than the fleshy arm. Same deal with hands.

I would also make the "crotch cover" more a part of the image than some generic and cliche way to cover up her personal space. Sub-pornographic here.

Anatomy looks ok cept for the hands and arms, as i mentioned before. I think more rendering or harsher contrast in lights and darks would help this pic alot, right now its not bad at all, but a little bleh.

faust(1) - well, you must have been reading some Judge Dredd that I haven't seen...
bld - good comments. Right about the arm and hands. I did make her right hand smaller than the left, because it's without mucles, skin and stuff... but I guess I went a little too far.
I didn't intend the 'ball' to be covering her privates... But I can see what you mean. I'll try and see if I can make it fit abit better in the picture...
Victor V - hmmm... I tried - but i dont get it!

Hey Boomstick!

Always exciting to look at your work.

Very nice image, I do love this style. I'm interested in hearing how you do these. Is it done in Painter (charcoal brush or something?), or paper? The only comments I have to this is to maybe bring her right breast in towards the center of her torso a bit, and make the dark part under her left eye more subtle..

Anyway, very nice work, I look forward to seeing more of this!

I just wanted to ask, what that half-ball-thingie is for!?

It is much better with the cables and wires coming out of it.

christer - hey you demigod painter! what are you doing with only 3 stars??? The world is very very amusing at times.. LOL!

On to your question - yes, this is painter, and yes a combination of the charcoal tools and abit(read: alot) of erasing. I find the texture that those tools do combined very appealing.
Do you have aim or ICQ btw? I have quite a few questions I would like to ask you myself. You can send me a mail or a priv. messeage if you feel like it.

I honestly don't know what the ball is for. It felt good in the sketch so I kept it. I don't always have a very good explanation on what every single object I draw is meant to be.
