My Lineart, a Orc-Hiker:

And my Coloring. I have concentrated my efforts on the detailing, so i miss the mood a bit in the picture, ..hmm i won't add any background on this.

Both lineart and coloring is well done.
I think however that the actual green body lacks a little bit of shape.
Maybe some more contrast...

It is a very nice piece.

I thought the line art looked a little confusing, but then the colour image came up and it all made sense.

I really like it! It's a foriegn legion orc! The costume's clever, all his textures look good and I like that curious-looking flail. Actually, I really like that flail, reckon it looks awesome with that rusty chain.

Give him a background, Duracel, and take him hiking!

The creature looks really good but you really ought to rethink your background colour, it only serves to flatten your picture sorry. I think you lost some of the character of the sketch in the colouring, but still it looks really awesome.

First of all thanks everybody for the answers
Every answer on sijun is a great success.

@Belis ..hmm, yep, im not sure, but that could it be ...

@HighFive Yep, the lineart is a little bit confusing
"foreign legion orc" Thats it! Thanks, you got it! I thought about the name and come up with "Hiker" but "foreign legion orc" is the perfect title
"Give him a background and take him hiking!" It sounds good, i see a little sequence in my mind, where the picture getting alive, the camera is zooming on the picture turning around the charakter and first you see his body moving, first slowly becoming faster, than you here is voice shouting something in an orcish language, the camera turns a bit and you see the feets hiking on a desert way and every step causing quite a stir, than the hole legion hiking on a desert where the dust is in the wind and the sun is shining in the meridian ... ... im going to think about the background.

@GothicGerbil
I have the same feeling about the "charakter lost in coloring" ...i dunno whats wrong, but it is something, thats perhaps the same point, why i miss the mood ...

@edel
Colored with a Wacom-Tablet(Graphire) in Photoshop in something about 2300*3300px
