This is a Painting that I did as a gift for my 13 year old cousin, who is in track. I know thwt he looks like he is going to fall down and that his front leg should be angled more forward, but i didnt have time to fix it by the time it was pointed out to me.
Other than that, what dou you think. Crits and comments would be apreciated.
thanks |

I dont really care for the glowing filter stuff. It makes it look kinda cheap.
Your illustration is very nice though. Get rid of the electric crap and it will be a good piece. |

Important point. Upon closer evaluation, he appears more indifferent than focused. It didn't strike me at first, though.
Nice work. |

Yah, i would keep the lightning stuff, your cousin will think its 'cool', you did nice work on it too, BtW. The leg deal might look better if you added some motion blur, enough to make him look like hes moving at unnatural speeds, so an unnatural leg position would look alright. But thats just an Idea. Cool pic over all. |

the electric crap is there because its for a 13 year old, and it looks kind of boring with out it (i know, i could have done a better BG, but i didn't really have the time). And its not a filter.
yeah, the eyes are looking in a strange direction. i shouldnt do them zoomed in so much. but i have seen slow motion video of runners and they dont have any expression. the only thing going on is wiggling cheeks.
thanks all for the comments, complementary and critical. |

I don't really like the electronic crap either... is facial expression isn't right either...and somehow is left leg doesn't seem to be in the right position. Maybe you could draw a nice background (racetrack or something )....and I am sure you can still use the "electronic crap" but then in a better way. |

I forgot; it's a very good drawing ...but it just misses a few things. |
