It's a JOKE! It's not famous but it is funny looking...

You could help me make it famous, it would make a good blockbuster movie, maby staring Tom Cruse as the dragon.

And I agree Elfwood is not the best place on the Net.

I dig the print. Shows potential.
When I was in printmaking class another student did one of these one-offs and it turned out incredible. I was floored by what he did just by scraping and pushing ink around on the plate. The only problem was the insturctor was not amused by the single print. He didn't consider it a print. More like a fancy ink wash I guess. I figure he had seen this process a million times by the time I was in his class and it was getting old to him.
Was this an assignment or for fun?
You said you used glass. How did you press it with out it shattering? I ask because we used zinc plates. Very strong.
Ah memories, I can still smell the ink...

So you're from Sooke? Where do you go to school to learn such a printmaking method? I really like that one.

With the print we used a peice of plexi glass, so ya it wasn't real glass. Then just ink it up exactly like a lino print, spreding the ink with one of those rollers.Scrape away what you don't want with a razor for sharp defining edges and I think i also used a q tip.We then just placed paper over and used a wooden spoon in a circular motion.I did the print in grade ten at high school. It was the only art class I have ever been in .
