A bit of this and that. I colored in the b/w logger girl pinup I put in someone else's thread here. The next one is just a test, inspired by Craig and Flushgarden, it was fun to do though, just started from a random texture, then tried to see an image in it, then tried to 'bring it out'.
Then there's a charicature of myself, hehe... and last just a weird picture that started with a sketch for something else, and ended up... nowhere. Hm.

Just thought I would jump in and say number 2 and 3 are my personal favorites. The charicature made me smile, perfect emotion on that one

Have a good day,

it's all very nice. it looks as though you have a candy in your mouth on the self portrait (that bulge on the right side of the face). the nose seems oddly bent to his right. the axe-girls hair, although the colors are quite rad, seems so painterly and expressionistic (what am i saying?) that it doesnt "work".
more compliments - the lighting in all the images is great (esp. the last). the spooge style pic is neat to look at, tho i cant tell for sure what it is.

Wow Steven. Incredible work as usual. I really like what you've done with the painting of the lumber Jane, but I think I still like it in B&W better.
All of these are of course, well done. BUT, my definite favorite is the last one of the girl and the illuminated table.......AMAZING.

Take it easy,
Malachi

Wow, you've, like, put a folio's worth of work up here! The sketch for Lumber Jane looks good but I like the lighting added to the colour version a lot. It's got such a cool morning atmosphere to it. I think the hair should be thicker and show more hairstands, though.

That charicature self-portrait is very good! It must be so hard to take the piss out of your own features!

But the last one with the illuminated table is definitely my favourite. "How much for ze little girl?"

Whoa, I was just pining away in a corner for your stuff. These are great pieces you posted - the colors in the first one win a medal, as does the texture in the second. The lighting in the last is what pinned me to the wall, though. Soft lighting is a severe weakness of mine, and this is a really awesome example of it.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow the last image is so wonderful! Such a light is so hard to manage, and the glass, looks so easy like you did it! Where is the photography???

Really a great job, i should try such lights someday (and loose my time cause i'll never do it, i know , but i'll try... )

Yep. That last one canes much booty.
Scene from *some weird sci-fi film* (still taken from about halfway through 'the deal' index on the special edition DVD)

Not much to say about the others right now, sorry. Just had to crow about the last one
