Took apx. 2,5 hours. No reference used. Inspired by a certain person's painting I saw in another board (hope you don't mind, ax0!) |

This looks like the gal roundeye did a while back... that the painting you mean?
Either way it looks pretty darn spiffy! The gun is rendered very well ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

You did a nice job on the glove and the pistol. I think, however, that you should give him some more interesting eyes. Also, its my opinion that the way his arm is twisted is a bit awkward. Its picky, I know, but few people would hold a gun in that position. I think the side of the gun should be parallel to the side of his head - so the underside of the gun is facing us. Otherwise, very nice. |

Very well done as usual, but I agree with Jez. It does look quite similar to roundeye's painting, but you said it was "ax0" that inspired this? Strange stuff. Maybe you are subconciously linked to roundeye somehow. ;P |

Neat pic.. I have to agree on the arm issue, it looks a bit wierd.
maybe some sort of insane smile would make the face more interesting..
And I love that gun!! Sweet.. I bet you could take down aircrafts with that..
Very neat for a quickie.. |

man that is awsome!!!..one tip would be to give him sunglasses of the same color and make it look like they are reflecting some crazy lighting...the colors are great though!!

ARGH, I was writing a long reply and down the drain it went! A web page opened to this window and I hit "close" by reflex...
Anyway...
Yes, trigun! That's it! I had no idea what it was but decided to give it a go anyway. But trust me, this isn't a traceover job, it's 100% doodling all the way.
I'll be fixing the grip and turn the gun counter-clockwise a couple of degrees. Also, I'll fix the head and jacket to look more interesting. I'll start working on it now and be posting an updated version soon, so please stand by...
And thanks for a lots of feedback, guys and gals! |

My first thought was also Trigun. Clothes, glove, spectacles and gun is the thing that made me think about him. It isn't really the same hairdo and he looks pretty old.
You made Vash look old. Ba-a-ad Ripelly! Smoother skin, a smirk and spread hair might help though. ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

That's mint! He looks like Gordan Freeman's crazy half-brother or something. I like how you toned down the contast of the gun in the second pic.
2.5 hours is almighty quick, too! |

hehe G0rd0n Freeman from the other dimension.. or G0rd0n Freeman gone terribly wrong in one of dem' evil black mesa experiments!
I think it would look a bit cooler if his hand was more diagnal rather than vertical (\ instead of |)...
He also looks kinda.. too happy if you ask me but, who wouldn't be, having such l33t glasses and biiiig gun! ![](images/smiles/icon_eek.gif) |

I wouldn't say it was an asshole thing to do, it looks like a trigun troll doll. He's holding a gun and the jacket's kinda similar.
It's pretty dope none the less though. Better than any quick thing I could possibly cook up. -_- |
