Hi pro-phet,
And welcome
i like the idea in the piece..
But you need to practise more on the anatomy
The man :I see you have puted a left hand on his right arm, and that make it look odd...
The Ork: The right axs is to big.
and it looks like the left foot is not finished
All you need is more practice! practice !practice !
And one day you will master the art
Just keep on working one the skill |

Hey, not bad! You've got a pretty cool image here. I like the idea of the fallen warrior and the overbearing orc-dude. Makes me wonder what's going to happen next. BUT, as it is the image is just too STATIC. The poses of the characters need to be much more dramatic.
Examples:
1. Shift the guy on the grounds right arm further back to give him some balance; as it is right now, he would fall right over if that orc even spit on his shield.
2. Add LOTS of arch to the orcs back, shift his right leg forward and his left leg back just a bit until it's extended.
3. Make the orcs right arm bent a bit more. As it is, he is either right before impact or right after, where I'm assuming you want to capture the instant at which he is hitting the shield.
I don't know if you are gonna try and re-do this rendering, but if you did, I think you would greatly increase your chances of winning that contest
Anyway, if you keep in mind the weight, posture and balance of your character renderings in the future,I think your images will come out looking a lot more exctiting and eye catching.
Sorry if I rambled on to long, I don't even know if you wanted to hear this.
Good luck!

Just a few critiques.
1) The knight's pose is ok, but the orc's pose needs to be more dynamic for sure.
2) the orc's right arm (the one on our left) the muscles are wrong
3) the orc's right shin (the one on our left) is wayyyyyy to short. In fact, it looks like he doesn't even have a shin there.
otherwise, pretty cool. |
