I have to paint a figure for my oil painting class and this started out as a color test for the painting. I was having fun so I decided to polish it up more. I've got a sepia tone underpainting done for my painting, so the forms are pretty much set, but any suggestions or crits with color would help me out, color isn't really my strong point.

I donna why, but it doesn't look like analog oil color. It looks more like a digital drawing.
Nice by the. A lot more detail on the body.

tilman - this is a digital painting of a colour test for the oil he's goin gto do
Its very nice btw. as for colour, I would tend to want to go more indigo to compliment the orange highlights in the leather...
not sure how that will work with the red background though... actually not sure about the red background. Is it a stone slab. Maybe just desaturate it a bit?
