Close-up of a space marine...Sketched him in PS late the other night and added lots of dents and scratches....no particular chapter or anything (or maybe he's a Grey Knight )

Cool pic, especially like the effect of metal you have put in it. The only problem I find is that the shoulder looks like it's attached somewhere else than normally.

have to agree, the shoulder looks detached, like it is behind is back.

I do not like the fat, that picture ends so soon and cuts of a part of his forehead. Enlarge the picture, at least so much to be able to see is head completely. The composition will look a lot "smoother".

Yeah, this is pretty cool-looking etch-like style. While the shoulder does look detached, I like that dents and nicks in it as well as the way you've sketched the hilite. Extraordinary detail for a wacom tablet! (assuming that's what you used)

I think his face should be smoother, though. The cross-hatching makes it appear to be made of the same material as the shoulder plate to me.

Too dark and lacks definition.

could you do a metal tutorial. Your metal looks like actual metal with the dents and texture
