You captured his presence very well. Obviously it is simplified a great deal, but the skill is in the fact that you didn't eliminate any of the aspects needed to make it impactful. Great use of shape.
In addition, you definitely got his skin tone right.  |

the lines on the left side looks very blurry. sharpen them and it will look much better...
the picture reminds me of sear's pictures...

You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about. He lost large parts of his skin pigment due to all the plastic surgery he received. He has large brown "spots" in his face, and he covers them up with shitloads of make-up. And his skin is so frail that it can't muster sunlight, which in turn means that he lives like a fucking vampire. Maybe he also does drugs, who knows and who cares, but it's not what caused his condition.

yeah sure... that's what i said in my first post... i used the older painting as a base and overpainted removing makeup, softening features and adding the new hairstyle
the photo reference was used for the first painting of course
and for the obsession... it isn't such
i always have admired the man and despite the main opinion i have always found him aesthetically fascinating....
you just gotta take a look at my site, which you did, to understand that i have pretty some other interests |
