I've been trying to incorporate more texture in my work. Here's a pic of a guy I just finished. I created a texture with characoal and paper scanned him in and painted him in Photoshop. I thought it worked pretty well and it only took an hour but tell me what you think.

Hi you guy from Utah.

I live right next to you. YOu go rock climbing? If so, just call 801 733 4257.
I live in Sandy 9800 south 2055 east.

To your work, nice... but be careful with the spotes you texture. They are too sperated from the rest, and some spots are just too blurry compared with the face.

write me a PM or what so ever.

Tilman

woo, i like it. especially the texture. it looks like it could be a cover to a sandman comic.

very enjoyable.

*waves at other people from utah*
how long have you rock climbed? did you get a chance to utilize the world-class boulders before the church decided to blow them all up?

I really like the pic, I think the hair and body are too blurry though, it doesn't mesh with this face, other than that... Good work!

nice picture. Stylistically it owes a lot to Kent Williams tho.

That's interesting. I didn't have Kent's work in mind when I did this but that's a flattering comparison. I love the texture and spontaneity in his work.
