i thought it would be cool to have a lord of the rings thread. if you like, post some artwork. here is my pic to start it off. comments and crits also very welcome...

nice idea SporQ.

Is that Gandalf? I am not that much into Lord of the Rings, so I could be wrong.

I think the body of the hat is a bit to thin, compared with his forehead. There is to much light on his cheeks. I think there should be more shadow, because of the hat.

All in all its a very nice picture.
