Nice Figure, but the colors. You get sunglasses for me? I burned my iris. This green and purple due stinks, sorry, but take warmer colors, even if it is just a raff sketch.

the form looks pretty good, but it's kind of hard to tell in places because the brushes you're using to paint with are so blurry. i don't know if you're using photoshop or painter (if its painter, i can't really suggest anything i don't know it) but if you're using photoshop: stay away from the airbrush, don't abuse the smudge, and avoid working at low opacity until you lay down some basic shapes in solid colours.
i don't agree with the comment above, there's nothing wrong with the colour scheme. altho it could be toned down a bit, with more neutral colours. you could also give it more of a sense of realism with more realistic folds on the clothing.
good luck!
ps. a tip: if you want to make something look really bright, make it white in the center, and use colour around the edges of the glowing area, where it starts to curve away from the viewer. |

If in photoshop use a seperate channel for the lineart, then it won't get blurry, unless you decide to tinker with that channel.
Also use less saturated colors, that won't print nearly to color, avoid having almost pure red, blue, purple, looks ok on monitor, but those colors you have don't look cmyk friedly, but other than the blurryness and oversaturation is looks pretty dang good. |
