I think i get the aidea how to paint quick and realistyc enougth. About 40min for picture below.

But, the Rock looks too much centered, and more like a mole hill, than a rock.

Very attractive sword, Ascan! Doing that in 40 minutes is amazing, too. The runes on the blade is a nice touch.
I reckon you should add a dark red volcanic background similar to the stone the sword is in, if you wanted to work on this further |

Very nice sword. The painting style is tops.
You should paint the stone like it is lit from the top (where you got a strong white light) and maybe a little definition in the floor that would make the picture better I think. |
