whose not glad the forums are back too many times its been down.. hopefully not again.
well i haevnt posted in a long time.. like a year or more.. but im just glad the forums are back so ill post well i luv ur pics realli nice.. the saurian pic though.. his right side of his face seems a bit off.. the groove that sticks out of his face should be a bit lower i think, if his face is symmetrical to the left side.. if you get what i mean.. id do a repaint but im too lazy right now hope you understood.. |

i'd like to see these characters put into scenes. it's kind of hard to tell what's going on with the shapes (particularly with the first one), so showing these guys in their entirety would be a cool thing. |

bellie:
Glad to see you posting.
Yes the Saurian has quite a few errors. Others have mentioned the what you did.
Icannon:
Me too. I'd like to do some bg and full body shots of these guys but these are portrait pics for a game. I had to put them in little or no background.
Cheers! |

Think these are all really good Rob, suprised not more people have come on to say so. Think my favourite is the top one, (guess I'm just a sucker for brush strokes). Some of the other ones look a little over smoothed for my liking where as with the top one you've built up a great textury look with the strokes, nice gritty realistic colours too.
Only other crit is the light sourcing seems a little unworked out, kinda coming from everywhere.. which throws off the balance a little.. but yeah I like these alot, look forward to more

Those creatures look so cool it's scary! IMO, that female half-orc looks the best out of the three. That wrinkly skin looks so freaky. At last, someone has dared to show us what a female half-orc looks like! |

Oh man.
I forgot about this thread. I posted it awhile ago.
Cos:
Thanks for the c&c. It keeps me on the road to improvement.
Aura:
Thanks
Scary = good.
Just the look I was going for with the top one.
Dryfire:
Thanks man
Highfive:
I'm glad you like the female half orc. I've heard from a few people that she didn't look "orcish" enough. I would say her human genes are more dominant but by looking at her you know she is not all human.
Tonto:
Yup thats me.
Now where did I put my staff of Magius? |
