Since I've colored anything. My tablet was finally fixed and I got all my art homework done, so I thought I would make a celebration picture.
Weee! And now that I've done this, hopefully I won't be able to stop! ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Man this is nice, as usual, you've got so much talent and still so young and all...
C&C:
But what I like here is mainly the forms, not the colors. Colors are ok, and I love the way you've shaded the face and some of the folds of the jacket, especially the inner eye corner, but the base color of the face I think is too strong, and the colors of the background also too strong, or maybe just not right with the foreground colors... I'm not sure, but something is bothering me about the colors here.
And what's up with those outlines? Sorry if I bug you, but I know you're sketches are just beautiful, much better than I can do. So why this sharp broken aliased 100% black line? Can you soften it a bit? Mix your original sketch on top of this? You know what I mean? |

Wow. Very VERY bright, but I love the expression and the mood it brings. ;} It actually makes me smile just looking at it. ;}
Aside from the comment Steven did on the jaggy lines, what about toning that green in the background down a bit? I like the richness of color in the figure, but that green is near-radioactive.
Either way, this is very cool. ;} Keep up the great work. |
