This is just a little gif I did last night. I did a bunch of them but I liked this one. I was originally going to have the leaf float to the bottom and then dissapear but I got bored of doing frames and... ... Oh and I tried doing it slower but again the whole quality thing comes into play so ... I like it though and am damn proud of it. If you got anything relavant then go ahead and post it, but try not to get to big. C/C?

It took about 10 min to complete.

ok well I did another one today tell me what you think.

I just made a bunch of layers and then turned them on and off for each frame and captured them using imageready.

that first one rocks!! in the orange one, there seems to be two transitions of half opacity, a sort of shift. looks like a mistake. it kicks ass also. post more!

The orange seems much more logical than the apple but if you're interested in improving your animation skills you should do walk cycles, jumps, pushes etc with simple characters. Pay attention to stuff like weight and maintaining character volume. If you're feeling really saucy you could try a more advanced character with some oppertunities for overlapping/secondary action (rippling cloth, jewelry, hair etc). Interesting technique.
