There's a difference between criticizing someone because of inappropriate content, and completely insulting someone because you don't think they're good enough to merit posting here.

the title of this forum section is "gallery / finished work" look at what he posted. does it LOOK finished or gallery quality? not to mention my OPINION which has no bearing on my feeling it doesn't belong here, which is that it is at best derivative of synj, and it's insulting to the viewer

so how decides when it's finished? you or hom? maybe it's done and that's the best he's doing? so what if it's not lifelike or shocking or anything, one man's art good or bad is still art. Gallery = a place for people to present their peice...doesn't have to be the greatest thing in the world, but a place to show what you've done...so if you dont' like it, move on...

Dont you EVER speak for me again! Where do you get off telling me what I think is offensive

I(the viewer) am NOT offened by this guys picture.

And I think he has as much right as anyone to post his picture here unless the Admins have anything to say about it.

I wouldent care if someone drew a cirle in MSpaint and posted it here calling it "Finshed Gallery Quality Art"

this is digital art isn't it? it was drawn on my wacom tablet on my computer just for fun thats why i drew them, not too offend for fun, and because i don't think a "finger" is offensive i posted it because i thought a few people would enjoy some fun art, not all of my stuff is like this, this is more abstract, i really like these forums and i thought that because you guys are so cool i would have some cool responses about my art, so just chill vesuvius (but i guess thats not possible unless you've already erupted, are we talking about present day vesuvius or the vesuvius of the past, because if we're talking about past vesuvius man you sure would be warm) i don't want a conflict, i just wanna have fun on these forums i don't think that just because my art is "crap" that it doesn't deserve people looking at it, take the cincinnati bengals, they suck but i still watch em.

Hmmm, Oddly enough, I can see this as "finished art." It sort of resembles the type of art associated with pop culture and graphitti. Take a look at the album cover art from the various Limp Bizkit CDs (especially the first one.) This type of picture (pictures) would easily fit into this genre (which I do believe many people consider "art.") I'm not saying I love it, but it is original. I'd like to see more before I decide though....
