Nice Painting. Pretty girlfriend
Hmm, her neck looks kinda splotchy though(heh, not much of a critique, is it?). Well, I guess I don't have any worthwhile crits for you.

Wow, very nice. Very very nice. It's difficult to believe that that's digital. Aside from the neck thing, as mentioned, that bright point to her right seems to be causing a little tension. My eye wants to dance between the two, and it's in my opinion a bit to bright. |

Besides from being fantastic (nice texture on the back and shirt), I've seen that woman before !!
Don't panick, I mean I think I've seen some of your work. Could it be ? If I recall well, there was a caption with the sketches saying she was from German and Asian decent.
You can slap me with a memory chip and a pointy club if that's not the case..
Did I mentionned how I liked the pic ? Oh yeah.. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

it's a wonderful piece, I'd like to see a pic to judge, but even if not accurate (which it may very well be) it is a very precise and warm picture. well done! |

great image. looks way better than the other two images you've done, as if they were done by two seperate people. i don't know if that is a good thing or not .
only complaints i have are technical. i wish you would post your pictures in a slightly higher resolution, and i don't think your pictures need the white border. it's a bit distracting. |

C, the resolution issue had to do with space mostly.About the two seperate people thing, well ones comercial and the other is personal. I was trying to expand my horizons with this one.
Egerie, you remember well! All is true.
Cicinimo , I wanted you to dance.
I'll check on the neck issue for the future. Thanks for your comments. |

Wow,
That is really nice. It has a wonderfully classic feel. And the execution shows a lot of care. I do have some comments. They are strictly personal opinions, so take them as such. I believe that with such a strong back light the edges on the right side of the figure could be softened. Right now the skin tones are not as rich as they could be. Also the hair could be more radiant as well as the lips. What I mean is, a little more shineyness or highlights.
Once again, I find this to be a very fine portriat and I think it is great the way it is. I just thought i would throw out some suggestions on what I would do to it next.
And as the paint over pain-in-the-ass as I am here is a small example...
Best of luck and keep up the fantastic work. |
