I also did this one tonight and wanted some opinions on it. I know the perspective is way off but I more wanted thoughts on composition.
Thanks, oh and other peoples tributes to Herblock would be awesome unless I'm the only fan. |

beautiful chunky style you've got in the pyramid painting.
it looks like you want the center of attention to be the person going into the pyramid, and yet the lighting & composition don't draw my eyes towards that. especially with backlighting and the silhouetted pyramid, you could get some much stronger lighting going on.
also as a quick fix to the perspective, and maybe a really interesting way to change the composition: it'd be cool if you tilted the horizon line to run a bit diagonally, from the top-left to the lower-right. i don't know if it would work, but if it did, it would add some motion to the picture. |
