well done, my favorite is number 3, 'cause of the lightning, and the details in his face.
as i saw pic number 1, i thought 'thats a typical palladia mors pic', it's definately mirrors your style, hehe. |

My fave is the first one. Very good! I like the style a lot... though it may not be the 'best', but its the one i like the most. |

thx for the comments...
the first pic is a selfportrait. I guess it
should actually 'mirror' my style as Sock
said it hehe...quite funny.
the second was supposed to be a pierson's
puppeteer's head but it turned out to have two eyes and looking quite different altogether so I discarded the idea of drawing a whole puppeteer. (any Niven-fans out there??)
the third is just a cool wrinkly guy that are fun to draw.
whoa, my pic made it to the art of the week at digitalart.org. shame that it's - not the best piccie I've made.... |

Cool
I think the forehead of the first one needs some work, human forehead is more complicated than it seems...
Also I think a bit of reflected light could help, on the neck for instance, but it looks good without it, too, imho
I definately think that the second one needs more reflected light, because of the type of painting it is, i recomend you try putting some on the left side of it...
I like the contrast of the third one very much, but the yellow flame on the right bothers me, because it makes me feel the need of yellow light on the man's head...
Well, I hope i didn't just write a lot of nonsense
Keep up the good work! |
