I saw this pic on Francis forum and I still think it's great and the coloring works really great with the lineart. |

Pretyy cool. I like it.
Only thing that seems weird is the skinny arms and legs, and that shadow...
everything else is impressive. |

If I remember correctly , Itchi was trying to aim at a Shoujin(or something) style which is used in some genres of Manga. Personally I think he did an excellent job of capturing that style |

thanks guys for the compliments.
ian> svanur is right about the style thing (not that i did a good job in capturing it.hehe thanks svanur). my apologies tho i should have included that in the text. i tried to do that bishonen style male which is a more feminine and less big muscled type of figure than i'm use to drawing. dang he got even skinnerlooking after he got colored....things to keep in mind next time haha.
thanks again guys! |

the coloring job is good, not as good as the line work though! heh. MY only gripe is what everyone else is saying, the shadow. The way that the background looks it seems like hes standing on a ball or something, yet his shadow curves up instead of down or even straight.

his feet dont seem planted well, but i guess that's the style of the thing. the drawing\coloring is awesome. design of legs\armor is hip, too. |

Sam what are you working on now? I love your drawing style. You should still be doing some comics.

wow this board moves fast. gonw for a couple of days and my post is already on the 2nd page!
fallen> wow thanks for the compliment. i been to your site many a times also so man, it's an honor that you actually like my work! your work rocks! hey i saw you had a link to the bane gallery. a buddy of mine, drew posada is represented by them!
chapel>hey thanks man! right now i'm working at SCEA doing videogame stuff. if i were faster i'd definately be doing comics again. i still think it's the ultimate artform haha.
cos> thanks. he was sort of an experiment. this girl i know was saying how all my guys are always buffed out and her being an artist also always draws super thin prettyboys. so i thought i'd give it a try. the whole thing was just sort of made up as it went.
kombosagi> haha i cant take credit for that. the colorist (jen chan, who use to color for darkminds) made all the background stuff up.
moleculeman> haha thanks. the poor colorist had to make up all that with my whacked perspective. you guys are right tho, i need to pay more attention to that kind of stuff when drawing.
quasar> thanks man, yeah i lik this version too. the first one on my site, i like too ^^
icannon>thanks ^^ yeah the feet were my fault. he was just kind of this floating/fake standing figure. i'll do better next time.
thanks again for the crits guys! |

itchi! glad you've found your way here. I really like that version of the pic, colors accentuate your ideas nicely. |
