...Let's give this nice forum a second try, shall we? Here's one of the many pictures I created while the forums were down (the latest)... honestly too tired right now to post all of them.

Our Diabolical Rapture
HIM

In our diabolical rapture we live on and on
And death keeps knocking at our door
So we open the door and we die a bit more
We're in love with with death and we die on and on

Won't you close our eyes
We'll be by your side

In your heavenly rapture we die on and on
And you keep waiting at our door
Yes - we open the door
Let us die a bit more
Because we're in love with you and we die on and on

Won't you close our eyes
We'll be by your side

Your love is the only thing I live for in this world
Oh how I wait for the day your heart burns
In these heavenly flames I've already scorched in
I just want you to know
I'll always be waiting...

HOLY SHNIKES THAT'S AMAZING!

I must have missed this one over at the Keep, it's breath taking.

I'm saving this one in my "Out Standing Artists Folder".

I have no crits.

Take it easy,

Ian: Thank you =)

Shadowman: Thankee =) I uploaded it to Epilogue yesterday.

Andromeda[*]: He used to be a half elf... but he's a rather unique kind of gargoyle at the moment.

Dixter: Yesh =) Thanks anyway (=

notic: Thanks! I intended for the clothes to be ink black. There are no shadings or anything in them... was a look I was going for, but maybe it didn't quite succeed?

cybertoker2001: *grins* Obviously you did miss it at the Keep... glad you like it though! *flattered*

-Tepox-: Well, like I said above, that was the intention... maybe it didn't come through very well though. Maybe I'll look into it later =) Thanks!

Incubus: Thanks... heh... and you probably don't want to know. One day. I work like lightning if I've got a really bad headache and a bunch of inspiration ;) Like a drug I tell you!

Enyala,
As always, very beautiful. I like how the detail becomes foggy as you move farther from the focus of the piece.

Good stuff Enayla. I like the colors, very monochromatic, but that's not a bad thing of course. I woudl have liked to seen more background, to get a scope of height. Anyways, good stuff

Ive always beena sucker for plain black clothing and just seeing the extremities going from the blackness. (if that makes any sense)

I like it alot.

Everytime you post a new piece I'm just amazed at the work you put into your pieces.

I can only wish that I'll be that good when I'm old and senile...

Wow!
I love this one Enalya! The strength of the black shapes if fantastic, the pose is great, the subdued colour scheme is perfect and the detailing is amazing yet not overworked.

Congratulations, this is a really strong piece and has a great sence of drama to it.

Keep up the great work Enalya, I'd love to see more like this.

saw this on your forum. loved it.

edit: i should add something. why did you decide to leave the wings fuzzy? i like the softness, but at the same time, they kind of look unfinished or out of focus.

kohse: Thanks =) I wasn't too sure about how that'd work when I created the piece, but I just went with it. Glad you like it.

Superbug: Mmm... you're probably right. I just loved the format like this - widescreen, if you will... guess I lost some other stuff in doing it that way though =/. Thanks =)

Quasar: Thankee =)

Awetopsy: *Grins* Me too! It's not my first picture where the clothes are just ink black with no shading... I love doing it this way, but I guess it's a matter of taste. Thanks =)

tanis: Thanks! =D

FireFry: *beams* Thank you =) Heheh, is it just me, or did you just imply I'm old and senile? ;D

rdgraffix: You probably will =) I'm starting to like these kind of pictures that are still character portraits, but still something more as well...

Icannon: I don't know, honestly... to make people focus more on the character himself I think. Maybe that didn't come through quite as I intended it too =/ They're supposed to look a bit out of focus =) Thanks.

Seraphire: =)

krobar: I knoooow... I tried to add a fifth finger, but it looked so screwy. So I decided to let the fifth finger be hidden by the others. Does it look really odd? Maybe I should give it another try then... Thanks =)

enayla, wow REALLY nice. a friend showed me your site not too long ago. very sensitive and dang impressive! nice subtle color too even within the monochromaticness (is that a word) of the piece. beautiful rendering!

Enayla: Wasn't insinuating that your becoming old and senile or that your there already hehe

But it'll probably happen to most of us once we hit the big _80_. Ya know, accuse chessnuts of being lazy, making remarks like you invented the question mark. I'll ask to be put out of my misery if I ever become that.

Hey that's fantastic! I would suggest fixing the hands, they don't look like they have much grip on the stone
Great detail!!

I always love seeing your pictures, Enayla. ;} As usual, they're beautiful. One thing about his wings tho... I'm not sure what's up with the dots of light, and the veins seem a little haphazzard and illogically placed. I would think they would stem from the main limb area and fan out in different ways... Right now they're predominently at the bottom of the wing. And as for the sparklies, if they are start showing through, I suggest adding some more in the clouds somewhere...

But these are just nitpicks. ;} Beautiful piece. Glad to see it.
