Nice.

As I don't know anything about Acrylics I can't talk about anything wrong in that area but the picture looks good

Very nicely done, excellent rendering. Is the horizon line quite allright? It may just be the shoreline shape but I can't help feeling like the right bank is lower than the left bank. Probably the shapes.

I really like this one, the trees and their reflections on the water. It's wonderful.

Nice light. Feels like it's filtering in from behind those trees. I like.

I like the painting. The thing that struck me the most for some reason is the lack of the color blue even though its a painting of a river. I guess its cuz i just read some where that some famous artist never used blue for water cuz it wasnt realistic or something. Cool painting.

I second everyone elses comments, bravo bravo ol' chap @:-)

Thing that gets me though is that it appears a bit flat to me... perhaps some warmer colours up front and some slightly saturated colours in the background could help.

Though as I look at it in the little window below, the depth is apparent. So perhaps it's the foliage in the upper half of the work that's throwing off the depth for me.

*shrugs* Or it could just be the jpeg. Real paintings need to be seen in real life, no? @:-) Or mebbe it's just me.

Once again though, lovely work.

Well, this is simply beautiful, perhaps you should make more landscapes.

Really, really nice. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more muted color to it.

Yes indeed very nice. I like the water and the sunlight splashes on it.

Were you actually on the Canal du midi or was this done from a photo reference ? If it's the later, could we see pliz ?

Ah ... so your one of these people that on there first attempt doing something quite spectacular It is a really nice painting and my comments would be along the lines of what has already been mentioned so I won't rehash. I do like the fact you have water without using blue.
