Hey!
Pretty cool pic! This ghost-thing is pretty good and I like the shadow of the hand on it. But at all, your pic needs a bit more detail, like you did with the skull-ghost in the top left corner. Especially the axe-guys pants and the drawer would look better if there was any texture or structure on it, like on the guys arms. I like the way, you did his hair.
Keep it up!

The picture looks pretty cool and you certainly have some provocative ideas goin' on here. One thing though is from a structural point of view in that the image is confusing in 'flow'. The top main 'demon' seems to be looking out of the page, while the one half way down the image is looking directly right, while the man looks like he is looking at the demon's chest. These "eyelines" really disrupt any sort of flow that the image could otherwise have. If the man's head was tilted back a bit, it would probably feel a bit more dramatic in the man being overwhelmed by this character coming out of the book.
Still a very nice image though. |

Great colors!
::agrees with Matt Elder about the 'flow'::
The casted shadow of the demon's hand looks neat! |

I agree with the above comments. Personally, I'd like to see more blue lighting over the whole piece. If the magic trails are the main light source I'd think that pretty much everything in the room would have a bluish tint to it. I see that you did a little bit of this, but I think it should be a bit more extreme.
Very nice work on those ghosty thingees by the way! |
