It's good to be back online.
This was a spec piece i did as a test for AEG. Picked 7th Sea because i had some cards and the setting was cool.
The art director said it was good enough to print (if he had the need for an image like it), but not good enough to sell myself as a consistent high-quality hitter. Need to get some more, better samples together. Back to work. |

Nice motion in your piece.
BTW, watch out for AEG. A friend of mine just quit working for them because they stopped paying him after several months. I don't have all the details, but if your counting on rent-money use a little caution.

Thanks for the warning.
Right now it's a situation where i just need to get my foot in the door and start getting some stuff published. That as much as getting actual AD feedback, and learning what the heck makes good card art.
It's a lot different from the normal kinda of comic-style illustration i've done.
I'm working on doing a lot less long shots
and more extreme closeups now hehe.
