My friend advised me to post this drawing up. I'm not too pleased with it neither am I unhappy with it. Sorry about the scan however, it really seemed to ruin the white pencil's feel over black paper :|. Anyway I could use some comments or critique since this is the first time I've posted a piece here.
Thanks in advance |

hey i think it has his likeness. especially the eyes. unfortuately its pretty dark so its really hard to tell. i guess that was because of the scanner. but it seems alright ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

In the future, you might want to hold back on posting this sort of thing. It's not digital in any way. If you had manipulated it on the computer, etc, that would be a different thing. This board is getting bogged down with a lot of art, and other posts, that are not digital. This is, after all, a digital art forum. I would be sending this message out irregardless of who posted it.
Please carry on criting this piece people.
Resist responding to this message!
This is advice for future concideration, and is not meant to offend or upset. I am simply trying to help return focus to the forum
Thanks for your time,
now back to the image at hand

Since when is this strictly a "Digital" art forum? I have seen countless pics of work that the artists state is oil on canvas or gauche or watercolor with markers, etc, etc.
Many of them by the respected regulars of this site. If its strictly digital, there should be really huge signs stating not to post non digital works.
Just my warped skew on the view, take it for what its worth... or not worth. ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

I agree. There's enough bullshit "restrictions" set onto people here by others, making them post strictly digital work shouldn't be one of them. |
