Hey, that is neat! Who cares if it is sad, it looks great! I love the sky, and the guy in the cloak reminds me of these beasts that are in the Harry Potter books (yes, I'll admit I've read em')
GREAT pic, love it all the way

great piece first of all. but only one small thing, the cloaked figure seems alittle too close to the edge of the piece. which, i think, compositionally, is wierd. move it more over towards the right. |

That's heavy shit, the background looks really nice. If the sun is meant as a sunrise I'd add more light. However if it's a sundown I'd add more red in the image.
By the way, why is the character sad? He looks more drunk or something just looking for the way back home
hehe cool pic mate

Hello Dr.Bang
This is really great!
The only thing that doesnt share the highly atmospherical density of the superb background is the man left. I dont now, what wrong with him, but somehow he just dont fit. Maybe its the perspective or the cloth should be rendered more detailled, maybe blowing in the wind. Or you could add some dust even before him...

Niiice setting there. It does catches the sad mood. I like how you came down with the shadow and light play, and especially like the sun setting. Very nice.. It also reminds me of Dune for some reason. But it is a good thing. You gave it a real good feel, and the usage of color came out really good. The dust blowing upon the sandy dunes.. Really nice. I could be wrong about the sun setting part. :P |

woa, thanks so much for the comment guys! I'm extremely happy that ppl enjoy this pic, normally I don't get alot of that Although the composition is a bit weird, i kinda want to make it that way, maybe tweaking up the the guy more might make the composition better.
Btw, the guy is suppose to be a ghost and he is trying to runaway from the bright light. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
