I mostly find myself listnening to heavy melodic metal
And right now my playlist has a lot of mixed stuff from Tristania, Anathema and Children of Bodom
Nightwish was good too before it got too repetitive |

I think my two most favorite bands are, like, N'Sync and GWAR. |

Absolutely not! I love Gwar. Seen them twice, in fact. Both times for free.
I just thought the contrast of liking N'Sync and Gwar at the same time would be funny. |

Heya..
Over the years I've noticed that music holds a place in the heart of an artist that seems to be much greater than that of someone who doesn't appreciate the arts. My question is, what do you listen to?
More importantly, what really inspires you? Often, they are two different things. I listen to hip-hop for the most part, but it's alternative music that really inspires my art. I love listening to Pearl Jam/Creed/Lifehouse/Hendrix/etc.. when I work, but I love to listen to Redman/D12/Em/Capone 'N Noreaga/etc.. when I'm out with friends. Two completely different styles.. but I love them both. Enlighten me people.. |

I recently picked up some albums by Godspeed You Black Emperor, it's a montreal-based semi-classical band. I usually play them when I paint. I also listen to some Brian Eno, Mogwai, and Portishead. |
