Hey.. nice painting.. I'd just like to offer a few words.. Her Ear seems kind of small in proportion to her head though u did do a good job with her eyes and nose. Err.. Why does she have her mouth open? Even so.. I think u extended her chin too low. Mmm.. I think u could have worked on her a little more, especially her neck and below.
good effort.

Very nice, colors look really cool!!! I like the eyelids, they seem very realistic. As for a crit, only problem I see is the mouth. It's at a different angle then the rest of the face/head. I believe it should be postioned down and to our right, her left. Great work, hair is awesome btw. |

Since you did this for asm I dont know if you are aiming for realism or not, so I wont be that picky Her hair almost seem like its glowing, youd need some darker and some lighter areas. I dont like her open mouth at all, would look much nicer if it was closed, looks really weird at the moment. Here ear is too small and not lit correctly. The picture lacks contrast overallt too ..
Its a well done picture, hope you got a good placement in the compo! |

Nice painting but I would suggest working on your facial structure. The face looks as if your trying to be photorealistic, not really stylized.-If you are you need WAY MORE DETAIL and I would suggest taking some traditional drawing & painting classes before venturing into digital painting. Believe me it will help. Later. |

I agree on the ear and that you need more contrast if this is to be realistic...On the mouth if you wish to keep it open like that. there would still be some shading on the edges and more lip lines. Try looking in a mirror with your mouth open like that...and remember to paint the light and dark...not just the outline ...the nose looks pretty good though..and noses seem to be the worse thing to capture for most starting artists. I don't want to discourage you though..this is pretty good for a start in digital..it isn't easy...but I think you show promise.
