Some sketches, I hope is doesn't show that i copy to much of him. =) anyways trying to learn from him and wanted him to see that he's helping me out and others by finding our own style by riding on his.

burn0ut maybe you guys should read more carefuly. Beside i just wanted Matt to know that his helping out the forum by inspiring and allowing us to draw and maybe someday get to where his at. I never said i draw like him, none does. Anyways i don't want to flame back, I didn't mean to hurt anyone by posting this sketches......Maybe you guys are
to much of a hardcore fans. If it's out there people will copy and learn even Craig Mullin said so.

klash.jr, wow, you have no idea how wierd it is seeing my style refelected back at me. It gives me the shivers. very nicely done (hehe, that could sound egotistical)! Hope it helps, but make sure you don't get caught up on my style, that'll screw you for good, cause I'll always be able to do it better than you

Quite frankly I'm getting really tired of hearing shit like this. you know what? If no one comments on your pictures it's because they don't care about them. Start producing interesting, cool work and you'll get the comments. Yes it's great to get crits, but it sounds like you're talking about compliments. Guess what?! The artist who get the commments DESERVE the comments they get, they work hard to get as good as they are! If people love it, let them show it! For frik sake! Boo-Freakin-Hoo, I don't get any comments! Why? Because the stuff people make is boring! That's right, you heard me! Sijun is the New York of forums, if you can't take it, it will eat you alive. Compete for heavens sake! When I came here, no one would listen to me, I would post and post and post. Then I started making interesting pieces and I seem to have some sort of recognition! Now why don't you SHUT UP and stop complaining!
Dammit, this place used to be incredible. A year ago is was the most beautiful place on the internet, now it's full of whining, quivering little babies screaming 'not fair!' Well screw it! Klash cool stuff,,, Not sure what the Isric thing is but I do Like what you came up with. keep working on it and play with the lines some more. I like the Second one the expressions of there faces are great. I think its time you color these bad boys..

Seems that struck a nerve in ya Isric... Ahhh just take a break an breath,,, this place is like a big bowl of soup, and many of the people here are just trying to learn art and some are just trying to fiqure out what it is... I don't know what it is and there are a few people that have that same nerve whacked a few times when they are that fat little zero dropping to the bottom. I my self could care less if it fell to the bottom,, as long its there for your viewing thats all. Its great to have a good crit here and there though not to say I dont like them...

I guess I'm rambling through my thoughts and find all sorts of people writing there pissed of issues. but I'll just pass them by and look at another posted image..

I like the sketches. Isrics styles really cool. I agree, try not to copy too much. I did that with Jim Lee when i was like 12 and its taken me forever to correct my self (not that Jim Lee is bad or anything).

Sometimes i wish people would stop talking about the forum and talk about the art :/

Isric, I love your work man. Sorry if my comments were out of line. They definetly were. I was here at Sijun for a long long time.

It's just that someone made a big point to me once. I always used to try to draw like amano. Imitating his style. However, someone said to me once, not to sell myself short by saying I draw like him. I think that is true. ALthough klash may be imitating or even studying from your style, i urge him to adopt it to his own style. Learn from it rather than just say, like Isrics works.

I guess, I just wanted to point out the lack of replies for the picture as well. I mean, klash jr. did a great job drawing no doubt about (i really like those kalsh, and sorry for not commenting on them earilier - i rambled). And as artist he who worked for them, he certainly did not get the replies he deserved.

Also my apologies for draggin your picture out of the thread klash.

As for your comment about Sijun being teh new york of forums. yeah, i agree, a lot has been lost here man, but a great deal has been attained as well. ALl artists have their style to browse around and the variety is great, no matter how dismal the art, or how great it is. It's simply wonderful to see art here.

As my "sucking ass" comment. It's true, I stand up for myself, as the poison has to be exposed before the wound could ever heal. Are us people who keep pointing this out simply whiny bitches? However, I do apologies for being so frank with the comment, and being rude...especially in your thread klash.

It's could be hard for you to tell, since we are probably on the opposite sides of the spectrum, while you are very popular, get the attention, I don't. Simple. Sijun doesn't mean a whole lot to me anyway, just a place on the internet to talk to people, have a good time (sometimes), and learn art.

Hey, dhahib..implement some sort of counter on each post to see if people clicked on it or something..that would be cool at least. A comment isn't even neccesary I guess, just a click so people can see.

and one more thing before I end this rant.

Isric man, sorry about the bad things that have been written, my fault, I should watch my language. I really like your work because its style is so unique.

heh, you're a bigger man than I am. please forgive me for the outburst, it was totally uncalled for. Sijun used to be a lot diferent, the streets WERE paved with gold and we could all fly. To see it now kinda makes me sad more than anything. The counter idea is a great one. I put a counter on my webpage so i could see how many people actually saw my stuff as opposed to commenting. It suprised me, about 75 people view my site for every comment made. I would love to see that implimented.
to Klash Jr, again, sorry for taking away from your image. I really do love it, and it's quite the honour to see 'fan art' in my style. Thanks a lot.

Isric, Thank you especial for the inspiration btw: i too know that heaven you speak of, i was there right when it started sadly until now i got the nerve to post stuff!

Also i know now why i choose to mimic your style isric in a way, I have so many ideas in my head i had to let them out and your way is so simple yet so beautiful i some how made contact with it and so it be the only way i can illustrate what i see. Believe me i also spend so much time at Chapters a library reading in the children section all i can about Disney books.

p.s I don't plan on staying here i want to make my own mark in the art world, how i get there it's up to me. =)

it was just your opinion, It's alright and thank you for taking your time to view my post, as well as you all wonderful artist out there. I hope we all learn a bit from this experience. Not everyone is perfect, everyone grows up different, thus the actions aren't always the same.

about this forum being the way it is now, things will change, but remember Isric everything chances, everything gets older and perish.
