Wow!
All these great pin-ups, now this tread is going the way I wanted it to from the begining.
I tell ya, this board and the people in it are what keep me painting when I'm not working.
Thanks to all of you.
Take it easy,

I think the second version looks a lot better with great improvements in the face. The main problem I see is that her body seems to be very outlinish. Techincally speaking there woudn't be such lines given the lighting and environment. |

Should I ditch the out-lining guys?
I've had mixed reactions.
Some of you like it, some of you don't.
If I ditched "it"(the out-lines) would it make the picture look better?
Let me know.

you know im here man
I just want to take a minute and say that the reason that I am angry with the comments by Bob the Newt is that they are not made maturely and that they are made by someone that might not ven be an artist. I post on these sites to get feed back from fellow artist, not people just speaking what ever falls out of their bums.
For Bob: It's not that we can't take criticism, it's that your choice of words anger us.
Ha!

if you want your painting to look photo-realistic you should leave out the out-lines.
in this case you could also have posted a photography .... ;-)
-
in my opinion you should leave it as it is. |

Tron....bro.......as I said in my first post of this thread....I can't. I don't have a flatbed scanner, I have a roll through scanner and I don't want to cut the magazine just to post my ref. I also asked if there was anyone who has the magazine and if they did, to please post the picture for me. Want to see the pic I used? Just go grab the August 2001 issue of playboy, you'll find the pic I used no problem.

sorry cybertoker,
i just wanted to say that if you go too far into a photo-realistic-way the artwork itself loses its asthetic character that can be achieved by the hands of an artist.
in other words: if go the foto-realistic way you can never get better than the photo is.
