Hi
It has been long time since my last visit/posting and as expected this board is constantly changing. I recognize only few of the names, but still, there are many great images on display!. Not visiting this forum for a long time leaves me clueless as to whether the image below is to anyone’s taste or not…the only way to find out, is to post it…

I have initially planned to add a ‘center-piece’ creature/s to this image, but I do like the overall look of the image ‘as-is’ and was wondering whether a ‘centerpiece’ would add or detract from the image?

Questions/Suggestions/Critique are welcomed

What are those small black dots about 3 inches down from the top, on the left side?

Yea, it's ZBrush for sure. Pixelator has mastered it. I remember way back in the day when ZBrush was relatively new and Pix was posting this incredible 3d heads. Since then he's only gotten exponentially better.

Great work dude, I admire your dedication to ZBrush. Your work alone makes the work of the developers worth while.

That is seriously, seriously cool.

Can't wait for you to start doing full scenes with characters and backgrounds together.

Row.

nice textures.

but somehow, to me this picture looks very flat. There is a lack of depth in here imo. I think this is actually one of the big problems with Zbrush when it comes to big landscape pictures, rather then character models.

The problem is..probably that you don't have a depth of field, nor a level of detail. It's the exact same sharpness & detail all over the place. Did you render this in Zbrush? If you did, this can easily be fixed if you render it in some other renderer.

Well thats what I think anyway, but it looks pretty neat anyway

Thank you for a warm (and very kind) re-welcome, it is nice ‘seeing’ some recognizable ‘faces’

ex: I draw by ‘feel’ and there is no particular reason for these black dots to be there, your guess is as good as mine ( Crushed black pepper? )

Binke: I could have activated the DepthOfField and fog in order to give more ‘realistic’ depth to the image. I simply choose not to, because I do like the details and did not want environmental effect to blur/cover these details. I would have used environmental effect if my goal was purely to get a more ‘realistic’ image.

Thanks
